Whether it's 50 close friends or a stadium of 5,000, Aaron Crawford is at home on the stage, and you can tell. His live performance is just that, a performance - his stage presence and desire to connect with his fans shows. Although he leans country, fans of all genres will be on their heels from the very first note.
A Northwest native, Aaron Crawford brings a sound to the country music scene that he has termed Cascade Country; a little rock and roll, some classic country and a whole lot of grit. He has spent the past 10 years playing thousands of shows across the country, sharing the stage most recently with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Riley Green, Trace Adkins, Rodney Akins, Lonestar, Lily Rose, and Ryan Hurd. He tours in support of his 5 self released albums with songs he has written and recorded both in Nashville and the PNW. His newest album ‘FIVE’ has over 230k streams with his single ‘Strings of this Guitar’ landing top spots on Spotify playlists and live performances on Seattle’s New Day Northwest and Good Day Seattle.
Blues artist Billy Shew has pursued a life in music for over 30 years. He got his first guitar at the age of 5 and started taking lessons at the age of 8. While moving around the country at a young age, he got to experience the music culture of the different communities including a time overseas with his Aunt from Zaire Africa.
While in college, he studied classical guitar and mathematics. He has been playing professionally around the Pacific Northwest for the last 20+ years playing in the local bars and hosting open blues jams during the week, which makes up a good 5 to 6 nights worth of music. He has played with his own band and continues to do so, but also plays with a country band, Nick Cain, and fills in with other bands when guitar is needed.
Billy Shew has 3 albums to his credit that are presently available everywhere music is sold and streamed: After Midnight, Bootlegged At Dawsons, and Look At Me Now. Billy Shew is a lover of all types of music especially country and jazz/blues.
His influences are the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Johnson, Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, Danny Gatton, Johnny Hilland, Randy Rhoad, Robben Ford, Neil Schon, Larry Carlton, John Denver, and Dave Mathews.

Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Americana singer, songwriter, and guitarist Billy Stoops has called the Pacific Northwest home for over four decades.
The energetic and charismatic front man was named “Entertainer of the Year” and “Best Male Vocalist” by the Washington Blues Society, while his distinctive guitar style on both electric and acoustic along with his groove-oriented songwriting garnered him a Tacoma Music Award for "Male Performer of the Year".
His band, Billy Stoops & the Dirt Angels, features the tight and driving rhythm section of bassist Barbra Blue and drummer Trevor Cutler, with the incomparable Troy Moss on lead guitar. Billy’s long-time music partner Leanne Trevalyan, with her spot-on harmony and tasteful percussion is the icing on the cake.
Stoops 2024 release “Bad Decisions” - the long awaited follow up to his acclaimed 2021 acoustic based recording “Wolf Moon”, features Stoops’ rich, soulful vocals and poignant lyrics on 10 all-original, pure-D, roots rockin’ tunes. “Stoops is a world class, alt-country, Americana poet.” Polly O’Keary, Washington Blues Society
Stoops is also a founding member of the popular swamp/roots band Junkyard Jane, a group with a briefcase full of accolades that has released eight CD’s of original music in their 25+ year tenure.
A former president of the Wichita Blues Society, Billy served on the Board of Directors for LMIA (Louisville Music Association), MERF (Musicians Emergency Resource Foundation), and the Tacoma Music Awards Committee. He is currently in his 27th year as Emcee of the semiannual “Sunbanks Festival”, and was promoted to Director of Festivals in 2001.
His other past and present festival involvement includes production coordinator for the “Untapped Brews and Blues Festival”, co-producer and emcee for the “Tacoma Jazz and Blues Festival”, talent coordinator and board member of the “Leavenworth Music Festival”, emcee and talent coordinator for “Moonfest”, and emcee and co-director of the “Emerald City Music Fest”.
And if all that’s not enough - the Reverend Billy Stoops is a wedding officiant and has performed over 35 unique and interesting ceremonies since 1999.
A proud father and grandfather, Billy’s hobbies include cycling, cooking, and most of all hanging out in Sayulita, Mexico where his kids and grandchildren live.
Though they have been fittingly described as a “Roots” or “Southern” rock,
those classifications fall short when you recognize the late-60’s Soul, 70’s era jam band, and even early 80’s metal that impressively seeps its way into the “SKM” brew. Whether it be classic blues riffs, funk-inspired breakdowns or grandiose anthems, none are out of place in their dynamically capable hands. These guys obviously spent some time digesting their parent’s record collections, and seem as though they would be right at home on a vinyl LP circa ’72.
At the heart of their original material is a soulful bend that is completely genuine: front man and chief songwriter Jeff Hamel was raised on a steady diet of hymns and spirituals, and skillfully unites aspects of this upbringing with the sunny-day vibe and playful bravado you would expect from someone just as concerned with rocking your socks off as any other article of clothing.
By cleverly combining the raucousness of a wild Saturday night with the dulcet harmonies of an easy Sunday morning,
the group exhibits the rare ability to be simultaneously both exhilaratingly fresh and comfortably familiar.
Their 4 critically acclaimed releases (‘Revival Rock’ - 2010, ‘A Reckoning Is Coming’ - 2014, ‘What You’ve Got’ - 2016, and 'Get Ready For The Getdown' - 2017), multiple European Tours, and dates across the USA have earned the band a horde of loyal fans, a pile of press, and a serious reputation as a "high energy, high volume Southern Soul-tinged Rock-n-Roll band".
