The Cider Swig Greater Peninsula Cider Festival will be noon-5 p.m. Saturday at Sehmel Homestead Park, 10123 78th Ave. NW, Gig Harbor. 

The one-day event features hard ciders from more than two dozen cideries. Each cidery is expected to serve a few ciders.

Event admission is free for all activities except for the cider garden and cider sales area. Cider garden admission is $35 at the door and includes five tasting tokens and access to a wide range of activities. Those entering the cider garden must be 21 or older. 

A children’s area will host entertainment, and there will be live music and food from local food trucks. The event is hosted by the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation and proceeds will benefit foundation programs and other community endeavors. For more information, visit or call 253-514-6338.
